KV Zürich Business School The KV Zurich Business School is a commercial vocational school in Zurich. It is the largest school in Switzerland and among the largest companies of education in the German speaking countries. The school has about 4'050 students, of which about 3,500 apprentices in the school. About 6,000 students are in the school attended training unit. The main building of the KV Zurich Business School is located at the Escher-Wyss-Platz in the Escher Wyss district. History The business school was founded in 1887. In 1908 the diploma for an accountant was introduced as the first senior professional examination. In 1915 the club house and schoolhouse For merchants (Kaufleuten) at the Pelican Street opened. In 1974 the institution moved into a new schoolhouse at the Escher-Wyss-Platz. The number of apprentices rose by the end of the 1980‘s to around 6,000; therefore further premises were needed. This was at the nearby Henry Street in 1993, a further Steinfelsareal schoolhouse was inaugurated. In 1998, the commercial school KV Zurich was renamed to KV Zurich Business School. Due to the growing need for space for apprenticeship and training needs, an additional schoolhouse in the nearby Puls 5 was put in operation . Purpose of Comenius The Comenius project tries to combine people, religions, countries, traditions and cultures with ours. The KV Zürich Business School supports this project with students and teachers. Les objectifs du projet Comenius Le projet Comenius essaie de mettre en relations les gens, les religions, les pays, les traditions et les cultures avec les nôtres. La KV Zürich Business School soutient ce projet : des élèves et des enseignants s’engagent. Le soutien financier quant à lui est apporté par le Département de l’éducation du gouvernement fédéral. |
