The school is fully equipped with laboratories, such as for example Chemistry, Science, Computer Science, Foreign Languages labs and other facilities, a library, a conference room, an auditorium, outdoor and indoor gyms. The school is open to the cooperation with public and private institutions and companies relevant to its studies and is open to local and national working life, too. | |||||

The Istituto Tecnico Commerciale e per Geometri “L.Einaudi” takes part in the EU’s educational programme “Programme for Lifelong Learning (PLL)” through the Comenius 1 Project “Cultural Identity and Development of Tourism” and the International Project of the Council of Europe “The Didactics of History in a European Dimension: the Key-Dates of the European History”. | |||||

The reasons why the school takes part in the Comenius 1 Project can be found in its aims and objectives, that is to say, to lead the students in reflecting on their own cultural identity and heritage, in researching the cultural identities, perceptions and misconceptions of the other partner nations, in understanding the significance of cultural identity and its effects on tourism development in their own region. As a consequence the impact on the students is relevant in terms of gaining a greater understanding of their own and other cultural identities,of the raising of self-esteem, self-confidence and motivation, of increasing the awareness of their roles as citizens of Europe, of developing their interpersonal and communication skills by the use of ICT and increasing the motivation for language learning. The impact on teachers, Local Institutions and Interested parties is relevant, too: teachers benefit by increasing their knowledge of other educational systems and by sharing the best practice across international boundaries, Local Institutions and Interested Parties by collaborating in the planning, organization and evaluation of this project. | |||||
